AICS Training Center

The All India Civil Services (AICS) Training Centre was established almost 25 years back. It runs a full time course for the pre-examination training for the Civil Services. It offers elaborate courses of instruction in the subjects which trainees select for the Civil Services Examination. It also exposes the trainees to a very wide variety of scholars, administrators, executives and younger persons who have successfully competed at the Civil Services Examination. It gives the necessary examination material prepared by the experts in the subject who have been teaching for the Civil Services Examination for a number of years.

Recent Highlights

The Centre has started Orientation Programme to generate awareness about the U.P.S.C Examination. It has also encouraged Group Discussion, Seminars, Presentation and Relevant Discussion with the concerned teachers.

• 128 students were registered for the Entrance Test for the year 2005-2006, held on 7th August, 2005 , out of which 112 appeared for test. After taking personal test 47 candidates were selected for Civil Services. Training for the fresh batch started in August, 2005.
• The training programme for 'Mains Examinations commenced from October, 2005.

For preliminary examination for the year 2005-2006, held in May 2005, 06 students were successful & all 06 appeared for Main examination held in October, 2005. Only one candidate was successful in Personality test.
