Post Doctoral Research:  Three Japanese Government Guest Research Fellowships were awarded by the Ministry of International Trade and Industries (MITI) and Ministry of Culture, Science and Education (MONBUSHO), Japan.
·         Awarded Agency of Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) Guest Researcher Fellowship by MITI of the Japanese Government for conducting research in the Field of Drug Delivery System. (1997-1998).
·         Awarded Agency of Industrial Technology (ITIT) Guest Researcher Fellowship by MITI of the Japanese Government for conducting research at the National Institute of Bioscience and Human Technology at Tsukuba Science City, Japan (1996-1996).
·         Awarded MONBUSHO Researcher fellowship by the Japanese Government for conducting research in the field of Liquid Crystal at the Yamaguchi University, Ube City, Japan (1992-1993).
Two Post-doctoral Fellowships were awarded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and United State Department of Agriculture (USDA) by USA Government.
·         Worked as NSF Post-Doctoral Fellow with Prof. David Creed, (The University of Southern Mississippi, USA. distinguished Liquid Crystal Scientist) 
·         Worked in the field of Photochemistry and Photo-physics of the Liquid Crystalline Materials (1998-1999).
·         Worked as USDA Post-Doctoral Fellow with Prof. Shelby F. Thames (Ex-President of The University of Southern Mississippi, USA and world eminent and distinguished Coating Scientist and Technologist)
·         Developed Low Volatile Organic Content (VOC) Paint technology based on Green Chemistry, which was used to paint PANTAGON, Washington, DC, USA. (1999-2002).

          1.Bio-energy Application:
                   • Investigate vegetable oils, alternative non-food feedstock’s and   Algae for their suitability as sources of
§  Bio-Diesel (1st Generation bio-fuel) 
§  Green Diesel (2nd Generation bio-fuel)
                   • Develop technologies that expand the markets for glycerol and/or    enable the commercially-viable conversion of byproduct glycerol to
§  Chemicals such as Surfactants and Emulsifiers
§  Bio-degradable polymer
          2.   Bio-lubricant Application:
                   • Investigate vegetable oils and alternative non-food feedstock’s for their suitability as sources of bio-lubricant and functional application by  chemical modification.
          3.   Coating Application:
                   • Design and synthesis of different novel vegetable oil based acrylate  monomers for use in emulsions intended for low volatile organic content   (VOC) coatings.
                   • Design and synthesis of vegetable oil based urethane, acrylate and vinyl  ether resin for use in emulsion polymerization and ultra-violet curing                            formulations.
