Normally after closure of admission, the admission  is reopened for a few days to accommodate this students.

Hostel forms are not to be filled along with the admission forms. They are to be filled up after taking your admission, the forms are to be collected from respective department/faculty office. Rooms are allocated  before the academic session starts.

To start with, one need to select only one subject at the preliminary level and one additional subject, along with the previous one for mains. Admission to M.Sc Biotechnology at MSU is through a Common Entrance Test conducted by JNU, New Delhi for around 33 universities around India. One can visit www.msubiotech.ac.in or www.jnu.ac.in for more detail. The total intake for MSU is 25. The minimum eligibility is 10+2+3 with 55% mark in Physical Science subjects. The students have to study the common courses offered by the other departments of the faculty at 1st the year level. At the 2nd year level the department offers 2, three year of Bachelors degree in the field of Clothing and Textiles and Fashion Designing. The admission for the same is done on the merit basis.

The entrance examination is a theory test of your knowledge in the areas of fiber science, designing, illustration, draping, pattern making, clothing and constructions, marketing and merchandising, current affairs in fashion, traditional textiles, technologies and innovations in textiles and general knowledge. No multiple choice questions. No negative marking. Personal Interviews also aim to check out your knowledge and awareness besides your communication, personality and focus.
