Regular activities of NSS begin with opening of the colleges after the admission work is completed in the University. The work began from last week June onwards. Before initiating regular activities a group of senior volunteers was specially trained to undertake enrolment campaign and lead the regular activities during the year.

Enrolment Campaign is organised Faculty-wise to inform the student on NSS. At two major faculties i.e. Faculty of Commerce and Arts two special counters are opened near place of admission work to provide ready information on NSS to all the new students. The senior volunteers organised a display of posters depicting NSS activities and arranged exhibition of action photograph of NSS activities to enable new students visualise the activities of NSS. The senior students having proper orientation and experience could handle the whole campaign independently.

During the year campaign began on July - August from Faculty of Arts and Commerce, the a group of trained volunteers worked for fortnight followed by programme in the different faculties and Institutions of the University. The volunteers could confidently work with great enthusiasm. The parents of new students were more happy to know about NSS and its activities and guided children to opt for NSS.

After having conducted successful enrolment campaign during the month of July and continued then after students were enrolled from different faculties.
