GUJARAT STATE ELIGIBILITY TEST FOR LECTURESHIP, December 2008

 

The Six Gujarat SET Examination will be held on Sunday, 7th December, 2008 in 20 subjects.

 

Candidates who qualify in this examination are eligible to apply for the post of Lecturer in Gujarat State only.

 

The conditions of eligibility and exemption are exactly same as that of UGC-NET Examination.

 

The information bulletin and application forms will be available from the following designated branches of Corporation Bank : Ahmedabad: Opp. V. S. Hospital, Ashram Road Branch; Bardoli: Station Road Branch; Bhavnagar: Waghwadi Road Branch; Bhuj: Hospital Road Branch; Jamnagar: Pandit Nehru Road Branch; Mehsana: Malgodown Road Branch; Rajkot: University Road Branch; Surat: Shahpore Branch; Vadodara: Dandia Bazar Branch; V.V.Nagar: Mota Bazar Branch from 28/08/2008 to 04/10/2008 (both days inclusive) on payment of Rs. 800/- (including Examination Fees) for all candidates except SC/ST/PH/VH candidates for whom it will be Rs. 700/-(including Examination Fees) in cash.

 

The information bulletin and application form may also be obtained through post from Corporation Bank, Pratik Chambers, Dandia Bazar, Vadodara by sending a crossed D.D. drawn in favor of Corporation Bank  (Gujarat SET) payable at Vadodara for the above amount plus Rs. 50/-(for postal & handling charges). The request for sending application form and prospectus by post must be received latest by 30/09/08.

 

Duly filled in application form should be submitted only at the SET Office either in person or by post. Last date for receiving completed application forms before 5:00 p.m. on 04/10/08.
