Composition of the Cell

The proposed composition of the Cell may be as follows:

  • Vice Chancellor Ex-officio President
  • Pro Vice Chancellor Ex-officio Member
  • Registrar Ex-officio Member
  • Four Senate/ Syndicate members (other than Deans, and students representatives) of whom at least two shall be women, to be nominated by the Vice-Chancellor.
  • Dean, Faculty of Law (Ex-officio Member) or any person with legal background to be nominated by the Vice-Chancellor.
  • Two Deans from amongst the Faculties of the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda of whom at least one shall be a woman, to be nominated by the Vice-Chancellor.
  • Two Teachers from amongst the Faculties of the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda of whom at least one shall be woman to be nominated by the Vice-Chancellor.
  • One teacher from the field of Social Work to be nominated by the Vice-Chancellor.
  • Two non-teaching employees form amongst the non-teaching employees of the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda of whom at least one shall be a woman, to be nominated by the Vice-Chancellor.
  • Two students from amongst the students of the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda of whom at least one shall be a woman, to be nominated by the Vice-Chancellor.
  • Two representatives from the NGOs, in the geographical area of the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda of whom at least one shall be a woman, to be nominated by the Vice-Chancellor.

  • A person shall cease to hold member of the Cell, if he or she ceases to be an employee or student. In case of any vacancy due to resignation, termination, death, by a student nominee becoming an ex-student or for any other reason whatsoever the same shall be filled immediately by the President of the Cell.

  • ayed at all times in a prominent manner on a conspicuous part of the main Notice Boards of each of the University premises
  • A member of the Cell not being a member ex-officio may resign at any time by tendering her/his resignation in writing to the chairperson and such person shall be deemed to have vacated her/his membership as soon as the Chairperson accepts the resignation and the same shall be filled in immediately by the President of the Cell.
