  • Substantial research work giving societal / Public impact:for example, Check dams, (Civil Engineering) Muscle Type (Zoology), Existence of Buddhist culture in Gujarat (Archeology), Agro-based research (1patent, Microbiology), process for development of electrical contact material (1 patent filed jointly with DST and Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering) has been granted new drugs and formulations (Pharmacy) and many more.

  • Many teachers regularly get invitation to present their research work/ chairing sessions at international conferences/ workshops for their work in frontiers of their respective fields. Large numbers of national conferences/ workshops / seminars are organized by the university every year. Significant numbers of teachers are reviewers/ editor of reputed national and international journals.
