Education: Took primary as well as secondary education in Rosary High School and Law degree from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara. 

Biography: After receiving Sanad, worked with his father Mr. Harshadray P. Mehta, an eminent lawyer of his time, and started practice under the able guidance of his father in 1971 at Vadodara. By sheer hard work, he came to the forefront and became well known. After four years, shifted to Ahmedabad in 1975 and started practice in Gujarat High Court on Civil and Criminal sides. With dedicated performance both in the Civil and Criminal sides of Law, he appeared in several Inquiry Commissions. In September, 1999 he was appointed as a Senior Central Government Standing Counsel till elevation to the High Court of Gujarat. Appointed as an Additional Judge of the High Court of Gujarat on 18.6.2001.
