Brief Description about the Programme: This programme will provide intensive and exhaustive training to the graduates of nutrition and allied  sciences so that they become an integral part of nutrition support team at individual, hospital and community level. 3 years of nutrition graduation and 1 year of PG Diploma in Applied Nutrition is now approved by IDA as an eligibility criteria to appear for the "Registered Dietitian Board Exams". The programme covers clinical and community based approaches for management of nutritional problems of the country so as to generate employment opportunities in the government and non-government sectors.

Subjects offered: Semester I: Fitness and Sports Nutrition, Food Microbiology, Nutritional Biochemistry, Clinical Physiology, Nutrition through life cycle, Nutrition Assessment.
Semester II: Pediatric Nutrition, Health Promotion Project, Nutrition in NCD, Nutrition Special Conditions, Advanced Applied Nutrition, Research Methodology.

Eligibility Group : B.Sc. / B.Sc. (F.C.Sc.) [(Home) / (Family & Community Sciences)] Programme with any specialization

Note:

- Thalassemia screening programme is compulsory for each admitted student of the Maharaja Sayajirao University. 
- A discounted fees of Rs 150/- will be charged from the student towards the cost of sample testing at university Health Center/University Pavilion by “Red Cross Society”, India. 
- Student has to produce Thalassemia screening certificate for obtaining the final eligibility.
- Personal Aadhaar card number, Email-ID and Mobile number is must for registering the application for Admission in any of the programmes of The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.
