Message from Director:

I am indeed honored that The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda is one among the 30 institutions selected for participating in the pilot of the prestigious  “Gender Advancement for Transforming Institutions” (GATI)  programme.  It is a matter of great pride that we along with other 29 pilot institutions will march together towards Gender Equality in research, academics and administration. We are eager to work towards creating a gender responsive sustainable ecoystem at MSU Baroda under the mentorship of DST’s KIRAN (Knowledge Involvement in Research Advancement through Nurturing) division. Partnering with  Athena SWAN awarded UK institutions who have already begun their gender equality journey and drawing into their experience, will help us in adopting novel best practices to achieve our objective.  I wish all the very best to the success of this initiative by DST and to  all the 30 institutions that have signed the GATI charter.

Message from Nodal Officer:

I fell privileged to be a part of the Gender equality journey initiated by DST GATI. As the nodal officer of my university for the  GATI initiative, I am committed to  foster Gender parity in STEMM fields.  I am eagerly awaiting  towards introduction of novel best practices and further the  already existing initiatives at MSU  Baroda  that will light up the professional path of our women scientists.
